Shipping Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-21
The short version: FactoryPlug ships nothing — there is no
warehouse and no checkout. Every order placed through a product link ships
directly from that supplier to you.
How shipping works here
- Shipping method, cost, and timing are set by the seller, not by us.
Check the shipping terms on the supplier's listing before you order.
- Most factory-direct parts ship internationally (often from China). Typical
delivery windows range from about a week (express air) to several weeks
(economy/sea freight) depending on the method you choose.
- Large items — wheels, hoods, body kits — usually ship by freight. Ask the
seller for a freight quote to your address before paying.
DDP vs DAP — know the difference
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): the seller handles customs and import
duties. The price you see is closer to your final landed cost.
- DAP (Delivered At Place): you pay import duties and taxes when the
shipment arrives in your country. Budget for this — it can be significant on
large parts.
- Always ask the seller in writing which one your order uses before
you pay.
Tracking
Sellers provide tracking numbers through the platform you ordered on
(for example, your Alibaba order page). If tracking stalls for more than a
few days past the estimate, message the seller first.
Customs and duties
International shipments can be subject to customs inspection, duties, and
taxes in your country. These are your responsibility as the buyer and are
separate from the part's price and the shipping fee.
